*Enjoyable crime mystery K-drama of only 4 episodes with a runtime of about an hour each. Yoo Da-in plays the daughter of an alleged murderer. He's on the run while being accused of killing the brother of the male lead Yeon Woo-jin. Yoo Da-in and Yeon Woo-jin meet 7 years after the murder, and set out to investigate the case as both are convinced Yoo Da-in’s father is not the real culprit.
*The story premise is interesting and it’s executed well with good performances from the main couple for which both won an award (KBS Drama Awards). There are some exciting twists and I thought the last two episodes were very compelling. I also shed a tear or two.
*I was sure it was going to be a happy ending and then was disappointed it wasn’t. But it was the better ending, with both leads coming to terms with their past and being happy on their own again. It fortunately shows them living in the same city, almost meeting, and I’m confident they will one day and then eventually get their happy ending.
*This show is part of Drama Special Series, a weekly program on KBS2 showing multiple episodes short dramas, with each story having a different cast, director and writer.
