Watched 26 - 30 December 2022 — 10 episodes (DRAMACOOL)

*Finished this show today and love this slice-of-life series, the unusual story of trauma cleaners, and the lessons it teaches us about respecting and honouring the dead, how someone’s belongings can tell their untold stories. I love how the trauma team put together the pieces of the story of the deceased and how they handed over the yellow box with the most precious belongings to the deceased’s loved ones.
*The main characters are likeable and I love how a bond was formed between Lee Je-hoon (the uncle) and Tang Jun-sang (the boy with Asperger’s syndrome). And also between Lee Je-hoon and the next-door-neighbour-girl Hong Seung-hee. At times she’s a bit too much, but overall she’s fun and I like her.
*Lee Je-hoon gives a stand-out performance. The way he looks, the weird clothes and hairdo, he totally fits his role. Also the boxing scenes are credible and we get to see some of his amazing physique. I had to look away a couple of times during the fight scenes, because I couldn’t bear to see the cruelty. Love Lee Je-hoon’s character arc! Also, he makes smoking look so sexy!
*Kudos to Tang Jun-sang for portraying a character with autism in such a credible way. Well done! Seen the actor before in Crash Landing on You in a very different role.
*It was nice to see Choi Soo-young as the social worker in two episodes, and how Lee Je-hoon clearly liked her (his ears even turned pink, it didn’t go unnoticed by his nephew). He was quite adorable around her. Since she works in the same neighbourhood, it’s likely their paths will cross again and I can fantasise about a possible romance between the two.
*Most of the episodes are emotionally charged, and I cried a lot. The boxes with Nike shoes!
*I love Ji Jin-hee as the dad. He’s such a gentle and sweet character. And handsome too!
*Overall the show is very well written and the characters are well developed. I can see this getting another season, also the evil woman got away and that bit was unresolved. I’m happy with the last episode, how Tang Jun-sang came to terms with his father’s death, how Lee Je-hoon received the good news that he could stay on as Tang Jun-sang’s guardian and how both will continue Move to Heaven with Hong Seung-hee as an official employee.
*Also, love the OST with classical music!
*This is definitely another favourite drama!
