Train (2020) 트레인

Was looking for a thriller series with a time-travel plot and some romance incorporated, and this one has good reviews. Just finished six episodes and have to say I really like it. I’m unfamiliar with both of the leads, Yun Si-yun and Kyung Soo-jin, but they have good chemistry and perform well, especially Yun Si-yun (who reminds me a bit of Jo In-sung). Actually, Train doesn’t have a time-travel plot (like the other two K-dramas with a one-syllable title, Signal and Tunnel), but the story is set in two parallel worlds, taking place in the same city at the same time. Where a person may be dead in one world, he/she’s alive in the other. I like the concept of how the course of a person’s life can change by making another decision. I think the plot is really interesting, and though I’m not sure how these different worlds come together or how they are going to solve things, I’m excited to continue this series.
