It’s Okay, That’s Love

Review notes were previously posted on Letterboxd, on a private list with watched K-dramas. I deleted the list so will publish the notes here.

Watched 6 - 9 April 2022 — 16 episodes (DRAMACOOL)

*Watched this series for lead actor Jo In-sung. Loved him in That Winter, the Wind Blows, and even more in this series, because his character is more likeable.
*Jo In-sung carries this drama, his performance is strong and convincing. Especially the part where he’s hospitalised and Gong Hyo-jin visits him, pleading with her to let him out. I cried buckets!
*Jo In-sung and Gong Hyo-jin have great chemistry and make their love story believable.
*I love the scenes with Jo In-sung and Doh Kyung-soo. That scene in the hospital where Jo In-sung washes Doh Kyung-soo’s feet and puts socks and shoes on … it was heartbreaking and I was sobbing again!
*I don’t know how accurately this show displays mental illness, but it’s laudable that they made a whole show around the topic.
*I LOVE JO IN-SUNG!!!
*Also, great OST!
