Tunnel (2017)
Watched 25 - 30 June 2022 — 16 episodes (YOUTUBE/ DRAMACOOL)

*Time-travel crime series reminiscent of Signal and just as good or maybe even better. I thoroughly enjoyed this and was sad it was over. Would be great if they decide to do a second season.
*I loved all the characters, the relationships, the detective team, the bromance between the two male leads Choi Jin-hyuk and Yoon Hyun-min. So many endearing scenes. Also plenty of humorous moments.
*I have to say that I was annoyed at first how Choi Jin-hyuk kept talking to himself, in a unnatural way, but I steadily got used to it.
*Also like the female lead Lee You-young. She looks so fragile. Love her relationship with both of the male leads, and how they were hinting at a romantic relationship between her and Yoon Hyun-min. They are very sweet together.
*SPOILER AHEAD: I had already read about the huge plot twist regarding the father-daughter relationship, as one blogger had put a caption beneath a photo of Lee You-young and Choi Jin-hyuk saying, Father and Daughter Pose Together And They Are About The Same Age! It would have been nice had it been a surprise but actually I didn’t really mind knowing it beforehand.
*The final episode was very emotional and I cried a lot. I loved how the series paid special attention to the victims of the crimes and their families and loved how compassionate the detectives were.
*OST is not very memorable, or in any case I didn’t really notice the music score.
