Starring:
Park Seo-jun as Park Sae-ro-yi
Kim Da-mi as Jo Yi-seo
Kwon Na-ra as Oh Soo-ah

Episode 9
Scenes I particularly loved:
*Sae-ro-yi and Soo-ah going out for drinks. He admits he likes her, after she accuses him of never confessing his feelings, and he says he already confessed when she visited him in jail and also at the bus station. He says their relationship will always be defined by her. When she reminds him that she likes rich people, he responds that he owns a building, and they share a laugh.
*Soo-ah turning down Geun-won’s offer for a ride and telling him again to stop hitting on her. I hope she will eventually turn against the Jang enemies and join the Danbam team.
*Show’s episode ends with a great scene where Yi-seo tricks dumb Geun-won and records his confession. There was of course no way she was going to accept the job offer but I was wondering what she had up her sleeve. Way to go, girl! I was cheering her on. Though Yi-seo still annoyed me for most of the episode, she fortunately made things better with that last scene.
*I have to say that as an underdog story this works really well. I’m eagerly waiting for the Jang enemies to be taken down by the Danbam team. But there’s not a convincing romance subplot. When Geun-soo asks Sae-ro-yi whether Yi-seo is just an employee to him or whether he has feelings for her, he doesn’t really answer. Honestly, I really don’t see any signs from Sae-ro-yi that he cares for Yi-seo romantically. Even the way he looks at her doesn’t betray a romantic interest. Well, let’s see how that plays out. For now, I like Yi-seo again but not as a romantic female lead. In that respect, I’m more on Soo-ah’s side (even though I know Sae-ro-yi and Yi-seo will end up together despite not having any romantic chemistry).
