*Did not expect to love this so much! And what an emotional ride!
*I love time-travel stories, and this one is well-written and well-crafted.
*This series has a lot of heart, showing the importance of family bonds, and it has the greatest bromance between Eun Gyeol and Ha Yi-chan.
*Ha Yi-chan, with his happy-go-lucky character, was a bit annoying at first, so immature, but he steadily grew into this lovable person and the actor does a great job in capturing the zest of youth.
*In the beginning I didn't care much for the segments with the band and I was waiting for scenes with one of the two couples and I also love the girls Choi Se-kyung/Ohn Eun-yoo and Yoon Chung-a together.
*I love both couples, and how different their romances are. Eun Gyeol and Ohn Eun-yoo are cute but I prefer Ha Yi-chan and Yoon Chung-a together. Their romance is so sweet!!! And Yoon Chung-a became my fave person. Vulnerable and strong at the same time. I love how she stands up to Evil Chairwoman, although it was to no avail. Fortunately her future son Eun Gyeol comes to the rescue and the scene where Evil Chairwoman realises Eun Gyeol has beaten her is such a satisfying moment.
*The series serves up enough twists and turns. There are also powerful messages about life: "Life doesn’t have to be perfect for it to shine. It’s the little moments that make your life twinkle, and happiness is what you experience when those moments come together." — Eun Gyeol
"Here's a thing about life. It may not give you everything you want. But it does hide a small present for you from time to time. I hope you can endure the cruel hardship life throws your way. So you can receive the present life has tucked away." — Mr. Viva
*Great OST! I especially love A Song For You by Jung Joonil.
*Too bad they didn't continue the love story of the deaf parents after Ha Yi-chan's accident, because of the jump back to the present.
*Eun Gyeol couldn't change his father's past of becoming deaf (I was actually glad that the father couldn't suddenly hear in the present), but he did change his mother's fate and relationship with her father. And because of that they all prospered financially.
*I love the happy ending — though it is a bit rushed — but I was wondering what had happened to Yoon Chung-a after the reconciliation with her father (he seems to have plans to keep his daughter abroad for good, to keep her away from Ha Yi-chan??).
*Anyway, not everything falls neatly into place, but overall this show was great and I cried a lot!!!! I love the concept of time travel and being the same age as your parents and spending time with them. It makes you wonder whether you would have become friends with your own parents.
*I had seen Seol In-a in Strong Woman Do Bong-soon and didn't like her character and I'm glad that I did here and also like the actress. Going to check out more of her work.
*I like the sign language bit.
