Pride and Prejudice (2014) 오만과 편견
Directed by Kim Jin-min, starring Choi Jin-hyuk and Baek Jin-hee.
Just watched the first episode. Not getting my hopes up too much for this legal series but I’m here for Choi Jin-hyuk (seen him before in Tunnel and really like him), and though he’s a bit of a macho in the first episode, ordering trainee prosecutor Baek Jin-hee around (they have dated in the past and haven’t seen each other for five years), just his screen presence makes me happy. Love his looks and voice and the way he fits a suit. Fortunately there’s good chemistry between the leads and it’s their relationship that I’m here for. The case wasn’t very exciting and it all feels pretty procedural. I wonder whether we’re dealing with a new case every episode. Hopefully the characters and the team will be worth it. So … though it’s not the best of series, I still cannot wait to see more of the leading couple. By the way, why is Baek Jin-hee running around in such high heels all the time?
