Crash Landing on You (2019)
Watched 25 March - 5 April 2022 — 16 episodes (TV/ CHROMECAST, Rojales, eps. 1 - 11 & DRAMACOOL, eps. 12 - 16)
*Amazing chemistry between the leads Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin and I love their love story. So thrilled that the actors got married in real life on 31 March 2022!
*Love the lead and side characters. Son Ye-jin is a feisty and likeable female lead and Hyun Bin is a great male hero. He has this heroic quality with military skills, yet at times he's very daft when it comes to romance. The way he looks at Son Ye-jin would make any female feel weak in the knees.
*The actual ending set in Switzerland is a bit disappointing. I’m all for happy endings and I was very glad they opted for one here too, but the final scene with Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin holding flowers was very cheesy. Also, I would have liked to have more scenes included of their final reunion, instead of Hyun Bin just saying he found Son Ye-jin by taking the wrong train.
*Son Ye-jin is so great in her emotional scenes and her crying is very convincing.
*Love the second romantic couple Seo Ji-hye and Kim Jung-hyun, but why did they let him die?!?
*Some of the scenes with the side characters (Bin’s faithful group and the women in the village) became a bit tedious but overall they gave a strong feel-good vibe.
*Seo Ji-hye’s mother was the most annoying character and her scenes with Seo Ji-hye’s uncle dragged.
*Love the OST.
*This series also made me cry.
