*Finished this show in January and really liked it.
* I love actor Ju Ji-hoon (currently also watching him in Light Shop) and here he plays the lead role of genius trauma surgeon Baek Kang-hyuk. He's a bit smug (but actually has every right to be because he truly is a life saver) and therefore not completely likeable from the get-go, but once you get to know his character better, you realise he will just do anything to save a patient and he has his heart in the right place.
*It was clear from the start there wasn't going to be any romance. I'd like to see Ju Ji-hoon as a romantic lead and for that I probably should watch the romantic comedy Love Your Enemy, recently released as well. Yet I'm a bit afraid it's not a good one.
*Initially I thought maybe experienced nurse Cheon Jang-mi was going to be a romantic interest but she and Baek Kang-hyuk just cooperated well together and their focus was always on the medical cases. I also liked Jang-mi's connection with Park Gyeong-won (resident of the anesthesiology department) whom she suspected of spying for the higher-ups.
*The trauma team is great and the medical cases are very interesting. Love how Han Yu-rim (the head of general surgery and colorectal surgery) came around (his character is a bit comical) and became part of the trauma team.
*This show definitely needs a second season, especially since it was only 8 episodes long, and with the team finally fully formed near the end of the series, we really want to see more.
